Frequently asked questions

Webex is embedded, not natively linked. You take the Webex meeting or webinar embed and place it in your Streavent digital event platform, and for hybrid events in the event app as well. The session then runs inside your event in your own design. Attendees join where they registered, with nothing extra to install. Unlike Zoom, this is an embed rather than a native app integration, so Webex handles the meeting and Streavent hosts the place it runs in.

No. This is an embed, not a data integration. Attendance, chat and recordings live in Webex and stay there. Streavent provides the event platform and the place your attendees join from, Webex runs the live session inside it. If you need reports afterwards, you export them from Webex.

In the digital event platform and, for hybrid events, in the event app, not on the public event website. The sessions live inside the platform your attendees log into, so the Webex meeting sits right in the agenda instead of behind a link off to the side. That is the difference: the video is part of the event, not a detour.

No. Zoom is a native Streavent app where you connect an account and create meetings from the platform. Webex is embedded: you place the meeting or webinar in the event platform and it runs inside your event, but it is not managed from Streavent. Both put the video where your attendees already are, they differ in how deep the link goes. Details on the pricing page.
