Learn moreWhen someone registers, checks in or gets scanned at your booth, Streavent fires a trigger in n8n. From there an open-source workflow moves that event into any app you run, on a server you control, no code. Your data never leaves your own infrastructure.

The problem
Registrations arrive, people check in, the booth fills a lead list, and afterwards someone copies it all into the CRM, newsletter tool and a sheet. For many teams a cloud automation tool is off the table on data-protection grounds.
Data flow
The most common flows, each as a live sync.

It runs the other way too: an n8n node calls Streavent's Open API as its action, so a new sheet row or form entry creates or updates a registration in your event, with no manual.

The moment someone registers on your event website, Streavent fires a trigger in n8n. The workflow creates a CRM contact, adds a row to a sheet or posts to Slack, all on.

When you scan a badge at the door, the check-in status, attended or no-show, fires a trigger in your n8n workflow within seconds.

Every lead your team scans at the booth, with badge data, note and conversation status, fires a trigger.
These are the most common flows, not all of them. Speakers, sponsors, agenda and more sync too, and you can create a whole event straight from your tool.
How it works
Registration, check-in and lead scanning each fire a trigger in n8n. That trigger is the first node of a workflow: one event action in, one automated flow out.
n8n is open-source and self-hostable: run it in your own cloud or on-premise, in Germany if you like.
A dedicated Streavent node is rolling out. Until it ships, the HTTP Request and Webhook nodes plus Streavent's Open API (from the Growth plan) cover the same.
For your team
Registrations and check-ins flow straight into your email tool and CRM. Your follow-up sequence starts from real attendance, without anyone exporting a list after the event.
Every booth lead reaches your CRM or sales inbox the second it is scanned. Reps follow up the same day, with the note and conversation status already attached to the record.
Because n8n runs on your own infrastructure, your security team keeps full control of where event data goes and which systems ever receive it.

FAQ
Streavent is an all-in-one event software for professional B2B events with 200 to 5,000 attendees that connects to n8n. Registrations, check-in status and booth leads fire triggers in n8n, and each one can start a self-hosted workflow into any other app. Registration, ticketing, check-in, badge printing and event app run in one platform, hosted in Germany.
Yes, that is the point of n8n. It is open-source and runs on your own server, in your own cloud or on-premise in Germany, so event data flows through automation your team controls end to end. Streavent fires the triggers over webhooks and its Open API, n8n handles the workflow on infrastructure you host and can audit. For teams that cannot route attendee data through a third-party SaaS, this keeps data-protection sign-off straightforward.
We frame this honestly: a dedicated Streavent node is rolling out, and not every trigger and action ships natively yet. In the meantime you cover the same workflows today with the HTTP Request and Webhook nodes and Streavent's Open API, available from the Growth plan. Registration, check-in and lead events become triggers, and a node can call the API to write back into Streavent. As the native node lands, the setup gets simpler and the workflows stay the same.
No, they serve different needs. For HubSpot, Salesforce and DATEV, Streavent has a built-in native sync, and that stays the deepest path. n8n is the self-hosted way to reach everything else: newsletter tools, Slack, sheets, internal systems, the apps without a native connector. Many teams use both, the native sync for the CRM and n8n for everything they want to keep on their own servers. Details on the pricing page.
