Learn moreStreavent registers as an enterprise application in Microsoft Entra ID, formerly Azure Active Directory, over SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect. Your team signs in with the work account it already uses for Microsoft 365, and access follows the roles your admins run.

The problem
Your organization already lives in Microsoft Entra ID: every work account, every group, every conditional access rule. Then the event platform arrives with its own logins, outside the policies your admins tuned, with no multi-factor or offboarding. Entra ID brings Streavent inside the same perimeter as Microsoft 365.
Data flow
The most common flows, each as a live sync.

Set up as an enterprise application, Entra ID confirms each identity via SAML 2.0 or OIDC. Streavent handles the login and grants access by your Entra groups.

These are the most common flows, not all of them. Speakers, sponsors, agenda and more sync too, and you can create a whole event straight from your tool.
How it works
Your admins register Streavent in Entra ID as an enterprise application over SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect.
Access is granted by assigning Streavent to Entra groups. The people who should run the event get it, everyone else does not, managed exactly like the rest of.
Entra confirms the identity, Streavent sets the scope. Each account maps to a role, so an organizer reaches the admin while staff see only the areas their job.
For your team
Conditional access, multi-factor and sign-in risk policies from Entra apply to the event too. No second set of accounts living outside the rules your admins maintain.
Your event team signs in with the Microsoft 365 account it already uses all day. No extra password, no separate portal, no reset tickets before the event.
Add someone to the assigned Entra group and they get event access, remove them and it is gone. Streavent follows the same lifecycle as every other enterprise app.

FAQ
Streavent is registered in Microsoft Entra ID, formerly Azure Active Directory, as an enterprise application over SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect. Your team then signs in to the event with the same Microsoft work account it uses for Microsoft 365. Entra confirms the identity and applies your sign-in policies, and Streavent maps each account to a role that sets what it can access. Granting and removing access happens through Entra group assignment, like any other enterprise app.
Yes. Microsoft renamed Azure Active Directory to Microsoft Entra ID, and the two are the same identity service. If your organization uses Microsoft 365, you already have Entra ID, and Streavent connects to it as an enterprise application. Nothing changes about how your users sign in, they use the Microsoft account they already have.
Yes. Because sign-in runs through Entra ID, your conditional access rules, multi-factor prompts and sign-in risk policies apply to the event exactly as they do to your other applications. Streavent does not replace or bypass any of it. You keep one perimeter for the whole organization, event access included.
Yes. You assign the Streavent enterprise application to the Entra groups that should have access, and only their members can sign in. Inside Streavent, each account maps to a role, so organizers reach the admin areas while staff see only what they need. Access is added and removed through group membership, so offboarding in Entra removes event access with it.
